Re/lax Remade + Slogue: At the Vic
This look unintentionally attained a 60s vibe. The gold in the hat suggested the lurex knit, and the blue took me to light washed denim. When I added in the Swedish Stockings tights, I decided to stick with the 60s vibe by way of heeled loafers, then balance that with a matching but modern shoulder bag.
Slogue is all about style play, allowing the variety of circular fashion to inspire endless possibilities.
Re/lax Remade turns vintage towels into hats. Founded by northern Sydney creative Karina Barker, it is enjoying wonderful success as a small, sustainable business, and was recently featured in Vogue Australia.
This Re/lax Remade hat is made of a geometric towel by 60s designer Pierre Cardin.
I styled it with a vintage gold lurex knit, hired for a week from Bell Street, thrifted 80s pearly denim shorts, Swedish Stockings floral tights, 60s shoes and secondhand Coach bag.
