Councils can choose from a set menu of proven activations, designed to be flexible yet ready to go, while encouraging bundles that build scale and momentum.

Fast fashion and endless screen time are reshaping how young people experience clothing. Gen Z and Alpha spend hours consuming fashion content online — from TikTok thrift flips to Roblox fashion games — yet they crave real-world creativity and connection. Our activations offer councils a visible, youth-led way to reduce textile waste while engaging the next generation in hands-on climate action.

Our flagship event, Flip Fashion Forever, is a school holiday program of thrift-flipping for 10–18 year-olds, guided by eco and ethically minded young fashion talents, some featured in Vogue and at Australian Fashion Week.

As featured on Better Homes & Gardens, the quarterly event runs at the Inner West Sustainability Hub, in partnership with Re Place, a not-for-profit changing the face of textiles recycling.

Informal, drop-in activations — perfect for libraries, markets, festivals, even shopping precincts.

Council support

We’ll help promote the circles so locals bring their own garments and projects.

Organic engagement

Participants can also join in by choosing from pre-started projects (embroidery samplers, t-shirt yarn crochet, applique).

Youth attracting youth

Our trained mentors guide all skill levels in hand-sewing, repair, and creative embellishment, but their presence alone encourages that elusive youth engagement councils so desperately chase.

These circles transform public spaces into vibrant hubs of creativity and repair, attracting both intentional visitors and curious passers-by.
