Slogue is a Sydney-based social enterprise providing employment to young fashion creatives while guiding the next gen to see FASHION as something we DO, with the help of Gen Z’s viral ‘thrift-flip’ trend.
Founded by ex-Vogue contributor Jo Gambale, what began as a secondhand styling service has grown into a youth movement, taking its Flip Fashion Forever school holiday events to every corner of Sydney and even to Perth. Next we launch our Thrift Flip Clubs at local high schools, so ask your textiles teacher to get in touch and be part of the circular fashion revolution.
We harness the influence of Gen Z’s circular fashion prowess to inspire kids and teens
We empower Gen Z to inspire more youth to use their hands and creativity
We see circular fashion experiential products as essential for a post growth industry
We aim to reverse the devaluation of clothes making/textiles production caused by fast fashion
We help councils improve youth engagement around textile waste education
We provide unique school incursion programs to buffer a curriculum lacking in textiles education
We hope to prove that shopping/shifting large volumes of garments is not the only way to do fashion, and that the possibilities are, in fact, endless
We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. We celebrate the stories, culture, and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
